During Gamescom 2022, Krafton revealed new gameplay from the Striking Distance Studios-developed survival horror adventure, The Callisto Protocol, coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on December 2, 2022.
The gameplay highlights more ways players will be able to sneak around the environments and take out enemies. Further, we get a chance to see some of the abilities that players can utilize, including freeze and throwing skills. Given that this is a game more about cutting off the limbs of enemies, we see how destroying the heads isn’t the best way to survive. Additionally, the trailer ends with a slide down a pipe where an epic death awaits.
The Callisto Protocol is set in 2320, where players take on the role of a prisoner named Jacob Lee. Stuck on the prison colony of Black Iron, his only goal is to escape an alien invasion that users in a host of creatures.
